Summary of qualifications
I have over 20 years laboratory experience in quality assurance including expertise in ICP-MS, AA, FTIR, HPLC, titration, polarimetry and other insturmentaion and techiques used in the nutraceutical industry in the analysis of raw materials and finished products. My work has involved testing for heavy metals and mineral content. I have at times lived abroad where I learned French and a moderate amount of Spanish. My work has taken me to a variety of gas and oil exploration environments, including off-shore where I worked up to six weeks at a time. I have received significant training in; computer programming (C++, Linux, Unix), word processing, spreadsheets and data bases (SQL, Access); safety practices such as fire extinguishers, CPR, laboratory safety ; and employee relations such as managing interpersonal relationships.

Physical Science Technician. Analyse water samples from collection sites throughout the world using graphite furnace, AA, and ICP. Develop computer interface programs to manage data. Maintain necessary instrumentation. Compile, process, and transmit data through LIMS. Prepare reports and charts using word processing and spreadsheets for quality control of procedures.
